Checking Out Equipment

Most classroom equipment will be checked out in the beginning of the school year and will stay in your classroom. If you have any additional needs let me know and we will do what we can to accommodate you.

Repair of Equipment

If you have a problem with any equipment please let me know immediately so that I can either try to fix it or make arrangements to get it fixed.

Care of Equipment

New equipment is very expensive; please see that students are using equipment properly. Keep equipment clean by periodically wiping down with a damp or dry cloth.

Please let me know if you would like to see a particular author, book, or series in the collection. As you go through the year please email me or stop by to see me and let me know what books you would like and I will add them to the "wish list".

Preparing your class to go to the Media Center:

All library books need to be returned by 9:00 a.m. (or the day before) of the day you are scheduled to come to the Media Center as a class. This will help tremendously with getting the books checked back in before your students check out their new books.

2. Students are to bring their library card with them every time they visit the Media Center. This will help me in assisting your student with finding books at their level and interest.

3. Go over rules for behavior in the Media Center; this is more important the first 6 weeks of school so children understand what is expected of them.

4. Check to see if students need to use the restroom before they go to the Media Center.
